Steelpixel Non-VC Funding - If you do/did sign up... let me know your experience.

Q. What assurances do we have that you will be around long enough to make this a good deal?
A. We are offering a two year money back assurance on the package. If we go out of business within two years of your purchase, you get your money back. We feel this is very generous.

http://www.inniskillin.com/en/ice/index.asp?location=ice

Grapes are left on the vine well into the winter months. The resulting freezing and thawing of the grapes dehydrates the fruit, and concentrates the sugars, acids, and extracts in the berries, thereby intensifying the flavours and adding complexity to the wine made from it.

Genuine icewine must follow VQA (Vintners Quality Alliance) regulations that prohibit any artificial freezing of grapes. The grapes are painstakingly picked by hand in their natural frozen state, ideally at temperatures of -10 to -13 degrees C -- sometimes the picking must be done at night to take advantage of the temperature. Yields are very low, often as little as 5-10 percent of normal.

http://www.babycenter.com says

Good news! If your baby were born today his chances of surviving — and thriving in the long run — would be excellent. By this week he weighs about 4 3/4 pounds and is almost 18 inches long. His skin is smooth and he's layering on the fat he needs to control his body temperature when he enters the world. You may be fatigued from lack of sleep, especially from having to run to the bathroom at night as your uterus keeps the pressure on your bladder.

Thank you mother and to be :-)

Changi Ramar Temple Singapore - Temple Upgrading Project 2004/5 - Bricks Donation - $11 each

[ update on 2005-06-13 - removed url since domain was not renewed on time ]

When Sree Ramar wanted to build a bridge to rescue Seeta at Ravana's place, help came from all directions. Sree Anjaneyar, Sree Rama's devotees and several vanara armies came to the rescue. Even the little squirrel showed its devotion to Sree Ramar and helped in the gigantic task by carrying little pebbles and dropping them into the sea to buil the bridge to Sri Lanka. To show his appreciation, Sree Ramar lifted and patted the back of the squirrel and the stripes on its back can be seen even today.

We can all show our devotion to Sree Ramar by donating bricks towards the upgrading of his temple. Each donation brick is priced at $11/-. Eleven dollars each. You can also assist by getting family members and friends to contribute toward the building cost.

bloghosts [closed for business] :-( - "Several technical problems with our backend have corrupted critical portions of our billing and support databases. While we have tried to recover this data several times and enlisted the help of an outside agency our efforts have been in vain. Although security has been very good we've found several discrepancies in our logs indicating the damage may have been intentional. For these reasons we have decided to stop taking new orders and will eventually cease operation altogether.....All servers will be monitored and remain online until January 1, 2005. At this time each server will be shut down."
